After that, we send you a clear written quote and a letter of engagement setting out exactly what we will do and what it will cost. Once you are happy, we handle the professional clearance with any previous accountant, get the right authorisations in place and agree a simple timetable for sending us your records. From then on, we keep track of your deadlines, prepare and check your returns and accounts, go through them with you, and file them only once you have approved them.
Our office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with late appointments available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 7pm for clients who cannot get away during the working day. During the busy self assessment season in January we also open on selected Saturday mornings. Appointments are recommended so that the right person is free to see you, but you are always welcome to drop off paperwork during opening hours.
If coming into the office is not convenient, we are happy to work entirely remotely. Many of our clients send their records through our secure online portal, sign documents electronically and speak to us by video call. We will fit around you, not the other way round.
